Playing people all over the world made me wonder if English is the only language used or, the local language whatever it is?

I sometimes try to say a few words in the opponents native language if I know it, but that is limited to Portugues & Dutch though as I prefer to say good luck. I could say hello in German, Spanish, French & Italian as well, but I prefer simply Good luck.
