My HP Compaq nx9110 laptop screen has gone blank although when you take a very close look, you will see some icons but it is not clear at all. I checked the battery connection, retarted the laptop several times but the problem persists . Can anyone assist?:'(

Dude, I just posted a thread like this yesterday!! I'll bump it for you. I ended up calling HP yesterday and they told me that I'll have to send it in for repairs.

Have you tried taking the battery out, then holding down the power button for several seconds? This resets the power management setup on some laptops....
