Greetings:

Well, this will be my last post until i am able to get back online. I
hope you all enjoy your games, and i will see you all soon; not that i
know you all, but you know what i mean!! Keep up the good work, and
most of all: " enjoy your Chess!!"

Xenophobe: What about making things interesting in the games that
will commence(i could be gone for a month or two) after my
absence...say maybe playing the Sicilian. What about either:
Dragon...Najdorf?? I know these quite well. Just the basic openings for
them...no fancy variations of them. We will play rated, and public!!
What do you say?? Are you up for it, or will you be too afraid to lose
those precious points, and face?? Come on, i dare you...i double dare
you!!

Slan...

As I mentioned several times in the forums, I am cutting back on the
number of games I will be playing here at once. The only thing I
would lose playing with you improv.......is my interest in the game.
Challenge someone more in your league! I have been challenged by
almost every patzer on RHP. If I were to play half of them, I would
need to hire a staff! I am thinking about playing only 10 or so games
at once and with players above 1600. This is more to ensure quality
games then for rating concerns. I do like your idea of "theme-play"
though. For those of you who are over 1600 and are interested, give
me an invite when my gameload is down. I would like to arrange
something fair, whereby each player gets to choose his opening
preference, so at least 2 and maybe 4 games to be played at once
with that player.

Interesting. You stats don't seem to correspond to your post. 236
moves and a rating of 1228... seems a bit unfair that you would only
challenge players over 1600!! And your writing style appears very
similar to one of the more prolific and controversial forum posters...

Since the "rocket scientists" here are having trouble
understanding..........xenophobe is Garry Kasparov!

What is the purpose of this schizofrenic behaviour? Afraid of loosing
rating points?

So let me see if all of us nonrocket scientists have this correct
Xenophobe. You posted in the forum that you are going to scale back
your games in order to get better quality out of your games. Garry
Kasparvo joins RHP on january 14 2002. And if memory serves me
correctly asks if anyone on this site will help him learn to play chess
(His profile evens states that he heard chess can be a hard game, but
he came here to give it a try). an you gave him a nice thrashing
remark. So when improv posted his challenge, Xenophobe did you
forget which name you were playing under? Since none of the rest of
us rocket scientists knew Xenophobe/Garry were the same person how
was improv suppose to Know? This could be a very good reason for
people not to play under double and triple names.

not meant to inflame just looking for clarification

Chris,
Do you know who Garry Kasparov is? Check Gary Kasporov vs
Deep Blue.

Chris, have you ever had the experience of going to a school for
autistic children and hoping you might be able to relate or
communicate? Your searching here feels similar. Don't look for a
gallon of milk in a hardware store. You can ask, but you'll never find
what you're looking for.

Congratulations kasparov.

Would Garry Kasporov play the games xenophobe played against
mathew on December 21st? For us non-rocket scientists, check this
out at public games, entering xenophobe as one player and mathew
as the other player and you come to your own conclusion.

I don't understand the purpose for all this. Are ratings that important
to some.

Did they allow Ben Johnson to keep his gold medal ?

I'm sure xenophobe will respond to your post himself vaknso. I
believe he made a public annoucement on this very subject a few
weeks ago in the forum. He stated that he had infact done what you
are suggesting. I also believe he offered to have the points adjusted,
thus lower his own rating as part of his apology.
