i have 3 or 4 books about chess.
to explain a strategy, they start with the first five or six moves, show you the chessboard and then continue with the coordinates.
i tried to replicate the coordinates on my chessboard BUT is there any program where i can just type in the moves in some format and the things runs the animation of the moves for me?

eh?

Is it just me or does that 'eh?' seem a bit out of place?

Of course, on its own it's simply a declaration of ignorance.

EX. "howsit going, eh?" ---INCORRECT
"Dang, that guy can dangle, eh?"----CORRECT
any REAL canadian knows what im talking bout. and if your canadian and u dont kno what "dangle" means in hockey terms then u aint canadian so dont bother asking.

Welome to Canada, eh? How's your igloo holding up, eh?

As for your question. I think you want a program to type the moves into because you are not to sure about the squares or what 6.Bf4 means.

I suggest get a board with letters and numbers on it, and play out the games manual. It will help you more.

What do you think about that, eh?

It just meant: "does the above nonsense make any sense to you?".

I just condensed the thing into an E, an H and a ?.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
And, most of all, Thanks a lot for the help.

Ciao!

Try having a look at that. It's a pretty simple system when you get used to it. Will help greatly with understanding things written about the game as then you'll be able to follow them.
