les paul

okay-so my album collection is growing slowly but surely, in both size and diversity! (the last album i bought was led zep IV, baby!)

anyway-i was thinking of getting an album by les paul himself, as he's meant to be an immense guitarist, but his guitar always overshadows his playing, if you get what i mean. and because of this, it's neigh-impossible to find any reviews of his stuff on the internet...so, if i'm gonna buy a les paul album, which should i buy?
