everyone knows the phrase,
but seriously how does it have any real meaning?
if i take over the world then....
can i eat it?
can i sit on it?
can i lift it?
can i put it in my pocket?
i see it as a completely meaningless concept.
as a human i can only influence a small area just near me.
by becoming richer and more powerful i can extend that area a little.
as anyone with a boss knows: the boss has no idea about what really happens in the area outside their line of sight/sound/smell.
to totally take over a small business is only true in practicality while you are on site, and no other employees are needed.
to take over the world is like walking to the stars .... or swimming across a desert.
a different question with more meaning to me: how can i have freedom to live as i like?
