Letting Go

We all know the feel of it. We've been there, alone, before and will likely be there again. How do we handle the challenge of letting go? Do we conduct the day's business with concentration, having cordoned off the noisy feelings in order to think? Do we learn not to give in at the wrong moments in praise of fate? Do we become weird in our preoccupations or give in to defeatist resignations? Do we attempt to ratchet reality into neat boxes? I'd welcome your views. Thanks. (gb)

So very kind of you to ask, lolof. Wish the answer was, "Yes".
Situation has now evolved to the point where, short of a miracle,
that decision is no longer mine. I'll remain patient, though.
