yep, same guy, the living legend ismo alanko. the sielun veljet from 80s was incredible stuff. the song you linked was their last video ever I think, 90-something. sort of a comeback thing.
sielun veljet - rakkaudesta (of love)

sielun veljet - volvot ulvoo kuun savuun (volvos howling into moon fog)

Now I know why that's the only stuff I know from them. Earlier stuff is not abundant in the Finnish section of the family collection, if you know what I mean.
Too much Yö and Kirka! lulz

I was looking forward to watch the show today on JIM, but it seems to have been replaced with another grilling show. bummer.
Damn, I have to get me some digibox soon. I depend solely on open, non-cabled TV.
Anthony Bourdain, Louis Theroux, and Licence to Grill are my only connections to bits and pieces of TV wisdom, so if I miss one of them... don't want to even think about it!
Originally posted by SeitseI do. 🙂 all sielun veljet albums were also sold out, but there's been recent remastered cds out. don't even cost much anything as you can see:

l'amourha, hei soturit & lapset and kuka teki huorin are essential. the last album 'softwood music' was excellent as well. psychedelic tibetan mysticism, mostly acoustic guitars etc, quite different to the earlier material.

I'm a big enemy of buying TV series in DVD, for no apparent reason other than resistance to pay for something I can get for free. Stupid me, I know.
Anyhoo, I am tempted with Bourdain almost as much as with Frasier.

I ordered 6 seasons of trailer park boys last week, for 38 euros. I'll be repeating mr. lahey's crap analogies and ricky's self-destructing knock knock jokes for the next few weeks. 🙂

Btw, that's a bargain! Did you order from the Anttila in Itäkeskus? Those guys are the best locally for DVD series, unless you slap me with another hidden treasure I don't know.
Shame, an all-in-all stadilainen and still I ignore some corners of this town.

Originally posted by SeitseI order almost everything from play.com, and sometimes amazon. fast, cheaper and big selection. you can often find great stuff in the anttila bargain bin though, but generally movies simply cost more in finland. hence it's play.com to the rescue.
