I respect you as a human being, however I do not respect the way you are treating other human beings. You are speaking down to people in an unacceptable way. You are not being tolerant towards people who hold another fundamentally different position than yours.
You are claiming that Christians don't live up to their own ideals. I agree.
Now, my claim is that you are the pot calling the kettle black and you are not willing to except that reality.
The difference between you and me is that I admit to act not according to my own standards on too many occasions and maybe you can find some examples of my doing so in our little fuede.
One of the earlier subjects that was brought up in the Freethinkers discussions was "How do Freethinkers deal with personal guilt"
You are desperately trying to prove that Christians are people capable of doing bad and evil things and you are trying to prove that I'm also capable of doing evil. Don't bother, I know, I don't need evidence to support your claim. I agree with you on that.
Now how about you and your personal guilt ?

Feivel and Ivanhoe are both being quite silly in both feuds. In the "freethinkers" thread, Feivel is making points that kind of jump around the really central issue, but Ivanhoe fails to argue his side as well, even though he brought it up with his question about revealed religion. In the "Israel" thread, both are behaving like certain rather vocal and political Israelis and Palestinians--maybe satire?
This thread is just patronising rubbish, and anyone with any integrity wouldn't post in it. I have no pretensions about my integrity.

Because I do so in an abusing way, or because I'm doing that in a way that is insulting to others or maybe I'm being intolerant or maybe I'm treating my opponents with contempt and disdain or maybe I'm trying to manipulate my opponent into a position in which it is impossible for him to meet my demands and then accuse him of being unwilling ?
If I would be doing this then you would be in your right Feivel to try and silence me (or at least quiet me down a bit).
You've stated in an earlier post that you're not going to read any posts of mine directed to you. I bet that you're reading this one right now.
Maybe Feivel, in this case, silence is golden for you.
