I was listening to the radio this morning when I heard a Kenyan musician being interviewed.
His name is Emmanuel Jel, and he's one of the biggest recording artists in Africa.
He came to Britain last week to take part in Live 8, but when he met Bob Geldof, he was told he could not play at Hyde Park, since he had not met the required album sales of 4 million.
Instead, he had to play at the Africa Calling show at the Eden Project, in front of just 5000 people.
Only a few minutes of this gig were televised.
All this guy wanted to do was to play and publicly thank the British people for supporting the cause of eradicating African poverty.
At least he made 5000 Cornish people very happy.
I didn't go, but I live just half a mile away from Eden, and it sounded wicked!
