I wish I could try out Google Voice. Google could actually make a killing here if they launched in SA.

The international calling rate is fairly competitive--- which is why I tried it in the first place. But the features are hella cool. Why the delay in getting it there in South America?

South Africa dude.

Only available in the USA if I'm not mistaken. Infrastructure, interconnection deals, potential marketshare could all be things keeping it away. Also, it's probably just being beta tested by the Americans and then Google will possibly release to the rest of the world.
