I didn't take a measurement, but mine was pulled whilst driving (as are all the best ones).

I was so shocked by it's length I nearly crashed.

i've resorted to sticking a razor up there every so often to keep it tidy, slightly dangerous as i know i will cut my nostril one day, i was always told not to poke my nose, but here i am now sticking sharp objects up it

I used to pull mine with tweezers (having decided to copy Lister from Red Dwarf).

I found the pain just about bearable, but afterwards I would have sneezing fits for about 15 minutes.

Remmington make a great nose strimmer thing - it just whizzes them away (Guaranteed or you'll get your money back!)

Pull them out after the usual daily ( ... ? ) shower, then it is much easier and not so painful .........

Had one my dad grabbed onto and pulled when I was a kid . He though he was being funny , saw it sticking out about a half inch , got it between his thumb and index finger , gave a smart yank . It was rooted somewhere way up inside by (swear to god)the tear duct of my eye ! Felt like I'd been shot . My eye watered for a half hour straight . So I didn't measure it , but it had to have been two inches long .
