On Saturday night I was asked to find out what the longest running game on RHP is that is still being played (i.e. not at risk of timeout).
The answer is Game 88261
Created on June 14th 2002, and the latest move was made yesterday.
Closely followed by Game 92007, created on July 5th 2002, latest move two days ago.
There are 12 games created in 2002 and 2003 that are still active.

Originally posted by ChrisEven funnier (more bizzare?), is the one of those players, PerlJam, hasn't played enough games to become rated yet, despite joining in December of 2001. In a land of glacially-slow moves, after checkmating ephram three times, ephram gets his revenge by timing PerlJam out! It doesn't seem possible to time someone out when their games are set to Rip VanWinkle speed.
