I think you're seeing it when you're logged into Yahoo on your own computer. If you log off Yahoo, delete your temp files/cookies, it'll probably be red X'd again. This reflects the same scenario as one of us trying to view it.

You need to put the graphic for your Avatar on a page that doesn't require login or authorization. Someone mentioned a site earlier that you can do this on for free. There are many others. Your ISP may provide you with some free webspace...if so, just put it there.
