When I started going to college the circle of all my major friends was split up, we all went our seperate ways; now all the new friends I am making seem very different; I don't really know them and it is often difficult to connect to these new friends because I find it difficult to think of things to discuss with them.
My close-knit social circle was essentially shattered.
