once upon a time in Whole Earth News, a book on exercise and the elderly was reviewed. it had an upper-body picture of a shirtless man on the cover with a white fringe of hair and white mustache, flexing his bicep. another photo from the book showed a lady in her 80's bench-pressing on a universal machine; she had weightlifter's arms.

does anyone recall this? can you supply the title or author?

The book was called "Freaks" and is available in selected specialist pornographers.

The "Whole Earth News"? Sounds like some kind of hippie, homeopathic, tree-hugger mag. Sorry, not my cup if tea.
