Has no one noticed any changes in the say...top 2000 ladder? Yes, in
the short span of a week I have gone from 1900 and something to
no. 400 and something. Yes, my feelings are hurt that no one has
commented on my meteoric rise into the top 500 or improved my
rating by 100 points. Actually, don't meteors fall? Give me a week.
That "thud" you hear will be me. Kirk
I was wondering the same thing-- I see the top 20, and then myself
and the people above and below me. If I could see the whole list,
Kirk, I would have been the first to congratulate you on your meteoric
rise! And knock off the negative talk about the impending fall! Your
rise may slow down as you get higher on the list, but I suspect it will
continue.

It would be nice to see a master list of all registered members, with
username, rating, no. of games completed, and date of their last
move. It would be even better if it was in a spreadsheet, with the
ability to sort by each column.
It would be one big list though. Last time I looked there are about
22,400 members here at RHP. Many of those are no longer active
and several people have more than one nick, but it would still make
one long list.

I may return and play again...I became disenchanted when I was only
1 rating point from the number 2 spot - then lost to a guy who was
1200 and had 1 win and 2 losses. Both his losses were to guys 12-
1300 and both were bad beatings. In our game he played a suberb
tactical game culminating in a nice rook deflection sac for a mate. He
lost his previous game to the well-known 4-move checkmate.
That "loss" cost me the maximum 32 points and I plummeted in the
rankings. It's obvious what happened so I won't say it. Anyway I've
come to accept some people will go to any lengths for a win...
