Mothers against drunk driving has a commercial of a baby crying endlessly. Am I the only one who leaves the room to grab a beer?
As for mother against drunk driving???
HOLY HELL. I don't know if they've seen ANY women drivers of late...or OLD people...OR young men????
They all can't bloody drive.
I place a bet, right here, right now....that I still drive better than 90% of ANYBODY on this site who's either female or younger than 25 or older than 50...after I've drunk 10 beers.
Actually, considering two people from this site have actually seen me drive (and attempt to park), I better retract that statement and say:
Those mad mother's are completely right! drunk drivers a bloody hazzard!

Looking back on my aged 17-21 driving years, I was a complete idiot. I just don't think you appreciate the damage a car can do at that age. "Fearless" would have been an appropriate word to describe my driving back then.
I'd like to see the driving age raised to at least 23 here in the UK.

There certainly are some idiots around driving at that age, but then many are not. For myself being unable to drive at that time would have affected holidays and trips to/from university in particular.
Limits on what they can drive (below 1,000cc engine, capped horsepower), or stricter penalties (say only needing 5 points to lose their licence) would be more appropriate in my opinion.
Originally posted by PeakiteYes, I was a little hasty. I prefer your idea, especially limiting the engine size.
