The MAP war is a silly but entertaining thing that seems to have stagnated a bit. (They've gotten a bit too cordial in recent posts.) I amuse myself by taking potshots at them occasionally, Swift-esque. They could provide a good metaphor for any number of incidences of political jockeying throughout history.

A coalition is building up against me with an unknow opponent. I suspect Rhymester is behind it but I heve not confirmed this yet.

Map (Most Active Player) is all about who has made the most moves at Red Hot Pawn. Being a player of dubious skill, I found a way to be a winner and not have to win the game. Seriously, The Map War is a way for me and another player ,irregardless of chess skill, to compete.

Have you and Rhymester played at all against each other, or do you not do things that are essentially pointless on the MAP war front (assuming no draws, the winner gets the last move...)? Obviously, this would be antithetical to what you just said the MAP war was about. but would Rhymester agree? Just curious š
