Yes, horror and shooting are usually a good mix (as long it doesn't have either "resident" or "evil" in the title). I nearly completed Fallout 3, right up until the poison was supposed to go in the water purifier.
ARMA2? Never heard of it. I'm quite new to gaming really, haven't even played Halo, or Half life.
ARMA2 is worth investigating, it's still a little buggy, but the scale of the game is just awesome and when you're playing with mates it's very cool indeed. Emphasis on the tactical though.
