Now there's a question I can answer.

Today was quite a low day, as far as knobblys were concerned. Although the top end of the bread was lovely and thick, the bottom end was so thin that its centre burnt a little in the toaster. I tried my best to plug this horror with Marmite but it really did make for poor eating.

Just an expression 'silly goad'! I actually live within the City limits so therefore have to pay the same taxes as someone living right in the city. Only difference is I am by a lake and the air is much better. It is where I have retired and will live out what years I have remaining here. I have the best next door neigbours and community you could wish for, what more could anyone want?

You are kind of correct because I have the lake here and we are surrounded by trees, squirrels, rabbits, deer, raccoons, different types of birds. Someone spotted a bear on the other side of the lake last week. And some critters I probably didn't mention.

Yet I can be to the closest little mall in under 5 minutes from the time I leave the house. About 10 minutes away from the bigger ones and my Macdonald's I've been going through the drive through since the Pandemic but just getting latte's and Coffee's.

The scenery is amazing as is the sunset every evening except when it is raining of course. Yes, I really am fortunate!
