Meanwhile, at the Dept of the Treasury...

If you've checked the US news in the last hour you are no doubt aware of a situation at the Rayburn building of the Capitol complex. Perhaps aware is too strong of a word since no one seems to know exactly what, if anyhthing has happened. In all likelyhood it is another false alarm, truck backfires and shuts down half of the government. Our country is so screwy that any little hiccup can bring everything to a halt, not that these people get much done anyhow.

I've been wondering, with all the attention on the Rayburn building any number of things could be going on in other parts of Washington. The capitol police have proved how easy it would be to divert their attention while you go clean out the treasury. That is, if we had any money left in the treasury after 6 years of GW.
