My skin gets so dry here in the winter that my knuckles crack and bleed! If I try to put lotion on them, it stings horribly, I've also tried "New Skin" but that doesn't last long and stings also.

What am I to do?

Try different lotion. I get very dry hands and it bothers me at night. I started using Hemp Hand Protector from The Body Shop. Great stuff.

Yes, I'm a metrosexual. 😛

I use Gold Bond. I also have used bag balm, you, being a farm girl, probably know about that stuff already.

Bag balm is pretty greasy stuff. I used to wear some thin cotton gloves and coat my hands at night during sleep. When I woke up I wiped my hands and tried to keep them dry. wear rubber gloves around water and keep them from getting wet, that dries the skin in my case.

I don't think I can sleep with gloves on, but I'll definitely rub some in real good before I go to bed.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Gotta watch out with that Gold Bond though. I accidentally got some on my pocket monster last summer. Terrible, terrible pain.

Check out "Corn Huskers Lotion" if it's still on the shelves.

Turns out, he didn't have the sniffles. Gave me quite a scare. I thought I was allergic to porn!
