Seems to me that both intent and accuracy count... same as in chess and daily decisions in life. Anything less is sort of sloppy. Agree?

Get your drift, GBS. Way I see it is that it's all about percentages. Nobody stays on their game all year long. Certainly not at my tender age.

Sure, it's wonderful. I myself just don't assume everyone in the world celebrates Christmas, as I wouldn't assume they celebrate Hanukkah... and let's not forget the Atheists who only celebrate New Years.

Next, perhaps there's someplace not celebrating even the New Year now? Perhaps Season's Greetings will do?

The thought does count, I'm just enlarging on the thought.

I think "Hanukkah" is spelt with a "C" oh and just one "k"
