Sounds like you had a good day :-)

Last time I've seen them was in Berlin when St. Anger was just out (luckily they played mainly their old stuff) ... I know the guys are slowly growing older, but their live performance is still absolutely fantastic !!!

I'd pay to see Collective Soul - not the rest.

Haha tell me about it, I went to a Deep Purple/Alice Cooper show... with Alice Cooper I thought he might fall off the stage any second... And I made some enemies when Deep Purple came on stage and I said "Oh mein Gott, sind die alt und häßlich geworden" (=oh my god, have they grown old and ugly). I only realized after I said it that most people around me had grown old and ugly along with Deep Purple...
Nice show though, I'm still waiting for Metallica to play near hear sometime.

I think I can safely say - you're not the only one thinking that -

First four albums are the best. I like S&M as well.

Kill 'Em All
Ride the Lightning
Master of Puppets
...And Justice for All

what's with their drumming in it... sounds to me like they hitting a rubbish can. not like when you blast whiplash or one.

Doesn't Lars have something rigged up where he has four bass drums?

Sort of like two sets of two, and the pedals have two mallets.
