Aww, im really strung out. My house mate and i have been trying o catch this mouse for a couple of week's now. Little guy has been avaiding capture like a true commando.

I tell you, this little fella was smart. We tryed laying traps and stuff but he always seemed to smell foul play.

Well, we got a humane mouse trap that just traps it but doesn't kill it as we would much rather just move him on rather than kill him just for being a mouse.

Anyway, i layed the trap out with some cheese in it and it just sat there for a whole week. Little ninja hadn't so much as looked at it! I went to stay at my girlfriends house on thursday and came back saturday morning to find the poor little guy had got caught in the trap and had dehydrated so much he'd died 😳...:'(

Now i feel really guilty cos in trying to save his life, i actually gave him the most unbearable death you could imagine. Word's cannot describe how this makes me feel, seeing this crispified little guy. In hind sight it would have been nicer to set up a bloody great axe and finish him off quickly.

Life is so fragile.

Awwwwww! The same happened to me with a humane trap. I think rather mine died of lack of oxygen. I felt so terrible for the little critter!

That's interesting. Anyone else ever used a humane trap? My Grandparents used a plastic one once and the little thing chewed a hole in the bottom and escaped!

I had a pet rat, but it died after two weeks. It bit me a lot. I miss him. 🙁

We had one of those have-a-heart traps to catch bunny's in the garden. Instead of a bunny, we ended up catching an opossum. This creature is proof that there is a god; only a god could conceivably create a creature soooo ugly. Add to that the fact that they are stupid on top of it and there you have it!! Anyway, we had to hang the cage upside down for about six hours before he gave up trying to hold on and dropped to the ground. The dumb critter couldn't figure out how to back up. Ick....that's all I have to say on the matter.

You'd think a cat would have other ways of catching a bunny! 😉

LOL, at least it didn't die, even if natural selection should have done it's thing already 😉

Oh, I do. It's just that if I catch it the way I want to, my wife makes me eat it. 🙂 Whole!!

A few years ago I was living in a converted barn and eneded up being invaded by mice in my bedroom when the weather got cold! I used one of those humane plastic traps and one night took out 6 mice(my landlord reckoned it must of been the same one a couple of times!) every hour or so it seemed like I'd wake to this noise of a frantic mouse and I just had to take it out before it keeled over of stress! I ended up taking these mice further and further away from their home 😉but then gave up and spent most of that winter at my parents 😉 it all got a bit much!

🙂 (just to keep to my 🙂 after everything Shaul 🙂)

Since nobody else has brought it up, I will mention that the full extent of the intelligence of mice will be realized by those who have read the entire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. In the interest of preserving your suspense, I will say no more on the subject.

Peanut Butter is the best bait. This thread reminds me of my shaking like a leaf thread.

Ends in tragedy!
