Michael Crichton (Andromeda Strain) Died.

He was 66, cancer. Didn't know he was 6 foot 9! He also started 'ER' and Jurasic Park, Runaway, directed lots of films. A real talent. He had an MD and spoke out against global warming as caused by mankind.

Timeline was a superb book, but crummy film!

Sad that he has passed.

Some of my absolute favorite books. Never even knew he was sick. I will miss looking forward to his new releases, he was always a great read.

It's sad he passed - he had quite a career. I never did like his books, though 🙁.
