Middle Child Syndrome

I'm the third of 4, so I'm perfect. 😛

However, it seems the joys of a middle child contain some consistency.
My elder brother, being number 1, was pig headed for many a year before he finally settled. The baby, youngest sister, was always sucking for attention and probably still does in some way.

Seems there's no concerns for our middle kids, as we know they'll just grow up fine and will ignore the living hells they all create. But I wonder if there is a way to shift first and last child to the middle trait, to make it easier all around.

Where do you come in your sibling rank? Does it pertain to my observations; were you the elder, bully but levelled out; the last, centre of attention baby; middle, placid dream child? 😛

1st born and obviously better for it 😛

I was the first of 3, we were all about 5 years apart. My brother the middle, sister the last.
Of course I had the most restrictions, and ended up rebelling the most....
Dad wasn't as hard on my brother and by the time my sister was a teen, she pretty much had free reign ... Guess it all evens out in the end 🙂

I'm the first-born child, the first-born grandchild, and the first-born great-grandchild: No. 1 all the way, except in chess!
