Cheese and Nutella wouldn't work for me.

Peanut Butter, banana and Nutella would work.

The cheese and pickle thing would still be preferable, IMO.

chunky salsa, pit-roasted meat and pickled gerkhins. I usually put it all on rye, but any bread will do.

Ploughman's lunch, with a few squares of chocolate for after-snack dessert. Quality.

Midnight, 1 a.m., 2 a.m., 3 a.m. and something roars in your tummy.
You need to wander in the dark all the way from bed to the kitchen,
and there it is. You open the fridge, and its frozen glow iluminates
all your gastronomic fantasies.

The midnight snack, yeah! Faithful companion of the insomniac,
unbeatable partner while reading that book or watching ...[text shortened]... cranberry juice... nesquik cereal with
cold milk is its best partner, though.

What's yours?
a bowl of Swiss muesli and full fat milk!

My favourite 4:20am snack is a chicken shawarma from Shawarma Max down the street, followed by a tall glass of water, followed by two squares of chocolate, followed by another glass of water, followed by tea, followed by cheese and crackers, followed by chips and salsa, followed by one more square of chocolate, followed by a Mini Baby Bel, followed by another glass of water, followed by...what were we doing again? 😵

Peanut butter with sliced dill pickles on rye. Sounds terrible, but makes a great sandwich. The other is sliced banannas on peanut butter, my dog joins me for nearly anything I'll put in my mouth, but she especially likes butter, peanut butter and honey on bread. I help her out a littly when it starts to drip all over my hands.
