But seriously, I watched a few minutes of her on a sitcom a while back, and my reaction was that her acting ability wasn't very good. (Neither was her dad's.) Her overacting was typical of many teenage actors. But I haven't watched her since then. Maybe she's getting better? (I would hope!) Her concerts seem to be way overhyped, if the ticket prices are any indication. But the teenyboppers have to have someone to fawn over, so if it wasn't Miley, it would be someone else.
About her dad, Billy Ray - I was one of those standing in line to throw stones at him when his Achey-Breaky Heart song came out. But I've since forgiven him. From what I hear, he's a decent guy (family values and all that stuff), so if I had to guess, I'd say that Miley probably won't go down the path of self-destruction. But what do I know, I don't follow all those celebrities too closely.
