Would it not be cheaper to purchase either some sand paper or little stickers to place over your existing keyboard keys?
Or you could even spray it with cellulose paint. Watch out for naked flames though. 😀

Well, my keyboard is already at least as confusing for most people as "Das Keyboard" - WYSINWYG because I am using Norwegian Dvorak. But I don't have individually weighted keyswitches. That sounds interesting.
