The Southwest was a part of Mexico in the 1840's. This huge region was known as the New Mexico Territory. It included most of New mexico, and Arizona as well as parts of Nevada, Utah and Colorado. The capital of the territory was Santa Fe.
The Southwest is a hot and dry climate. Thin grasses grow in some parts. Other parts are desert. Before the Spanish came, the Pueblos and Zunis irrigated the land and farmed it. Other Indians, such as the Apaches and Yumas, were hunters.
A Spanish explorer, Juan de Onate, travelled across New Mexico in 1598. His explorations led to the first white settlement at Santa Fe. Under the Spanish, Sante Fe became a huge trading town. However... ............................................... Is this a good way to kill a thread? 😴

i'm sure this has been asked many times. There seems to be much talk about thread killing. Just out of curiousity, how does one go about becoming a thread murderer. In other words, how do u kill a thread?
