An article titled "Raymonds Ladder"

That a large part of the folk community heard
of Ray Scudero's passing while we were at the Jacob's Ladder
winter festival was sadly appropriate.
The continuing proceedings were pervaded by a potent sense of
loss and it is no wonder that the performances took on an added
poignancy and intensity.
Fittingly, out there on the grass, amid the trees and flowers,
and the Kinneret behind us, we sang that wonderful evocation of
the power of the spirit over the failing body, 'Northern Wind'
(one of 600 of Ray's songs. The Kinneret for those of you who have
not been to Israel, is called elsewhere as the Sea of Gallilee)
We followed it with the rollocking wit, observation and humor,
coupled with his deep love of humanity, of
"Poor Working Slob". And we laughed through our tears.

I am not the only one grieving the loss of a great one.
