More to The Point
Things aren't necessarily always what they seem. Often human motivations and decisions, words and deeds are far more complicated than they appear at first blush and equally as often much more simply understood. Ezra Pound (modernist 20th Century poet born in Hailey, Idaho, 1885) took issue with Heraclitus (Greek philosopher of Ephesus, around 500 BC) and his universal flux notion that things are constantly in a state of change with, "All things are a-flowing, sage Heraclitus says, but a tawdry cheapness shall outlast our days". Maybe yes, maybe no. Seems a bit high brow and over the top dismissive to me.
More to the point... lack of concentration, inattentive social behavior, unfocused play of mind and sloppy execution seem to be the universal signature and daily footprint of humankind that's here to stay and will outlast our days. Must admit that whenever I observe sloppy thinking or communication (or chess play) I subliminally wonder about the individual's table manners, grooming habits, care with clothing as well as personal hygiene. If you're still the go to guy, Phlab, may I suggest that the Motorola Motto, a few decades ago, "We reward noble failure but punish sloppy execution" may still apply. Forget imposing unenforceable routine bans. Periodically cull them out. Line them up. Order the noble volunteer squad to commence firing at dawn. -gb

Jack Welch (of GE fame) said that every year corporations should sack the bottom 10% of the organization's workers.
The most lazy, dysfunctional and inefficient workers are shown the door.
Perhaps RHP could cull the bottom 10% of worst posters every year.
Perhaps we need an RHP Terminator. Very Rusty could play the John Connor role.
