What a movie. Jack Nicholson is great.

Not greater than he was on ''One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest''.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

It's is a ''rare'' Class A movie that surely deserves to be one of the greatest movies ever.

It's a film that will influence anybody deeply till the rest of their life. Every scene is so alive and so natural and you get carried away by the acting. You almost feel like you are one of the characters, or you want to be one ...[text shortened]... in Chinatown. But it surely is an artistic masterpiece.

Any other opinions?
What, in your opinion, was the movie's salient point which most spoke to you?

Kubrick is my favorite director, but IMO his best movie is ''A Clockwork Orange''. That movie changed the way I look at life.

''The Shining'' is no so much thought provoking, but kicka$$ film of course!

Jack Torrance: ''Wendy. You have a surprise coming to you. Go check out the Snow Cat and the radio and you'll see what I mean. Go check it out''.

Creepy...
I myself like '2001: A space odyssee' the most of Kubricks movies. 'A clockwork orange' is also very good. I think that "The Shining' lacks the intelligent script, the other two had. I haven't seen 'Paths of glory', but from what I hear about it, it sounds pretty good.

Some more movie anyone? Quotes, directors, trivia...
I like Klaus Kinski, the notorious German egomaniac. An overacting primadonna; there is something about his emotional performances that I find extraordinary.

His most well-known works are collaborations with German director Werner Herzog. They made nearly a dozen movies together and their relationship was almost always tumultuous and rocky with Herzog always stroking Kinski's ego just to keep him from throwing the inevitable temper tantrum.

The film "My Best Fiend" is a documentary about their relationship and contains some of the greatest footage of Kinski's off-camera antics. It is highly recommended as a pre-cursor to anyone who wishes to dive into the Herzog/Kinski catalogue.
