The Hateful Eight

by Quentin Tarantino

It was so we'll written I watch it about once a month.
The dialogue of each character flows perfectly with every character.
They say the N word about 100 times so don't watch it if that sort of thing offends you.
I think this is by far Tarantino's worse movie. It's his only bad movie in his stellar career as a director.

QT's frequent use of the N-word in previous films didn't feel gratuitous. Django, an excellent film in a similar setting, easily broke Tarantino's record for use of the N-word; but the way the story was written made the use of it fit. But in Hateful 8? It's just for the sheer revelry of getting to abuse the the word.

But don't me wrong, the film wasn't bad because of excessive use of a racial slur; the movie felt like a Tarantino wanna-be trying to imitate QT's formula and failing. If the N-word didn't appear once, it would still be a bad movie.

I think The Hateful Eight was a very scary movie, absolutely black, no shades, just without hope.
