The afore mentioned Skype is about £0.16p a minute to most major mobile networks.

All the other 'Free Calls Over the Internet' companies are just clones of each other so their prices are pretty much the same, just advertised in differnet ways (much like Broadband). It's all a load of media-hype rollocks though, if you've got a decent mobile phone contract than calls and messages are way cheaper 😕

It's 95 cents a minute to ring landlines in the UK on my mobile, so this is a lot better.

17 cents to ring China aswell. . .well cheap 🙂

Skype sounds the same as MSN.

Skype sounds the same as MSN.
Skype is the same as MSN and all the other VoIP programs, it's just the fact that it's not Microshaft that makes it popular.

No offence, but you've got a crap mobile contract then. Most companies offer less than £0.10p per minute for mobile to land line calls.

I dont live in the UK, and i don't use the phone enough to make a contract worth my while.

Fair enough. VoIP/Broadband calls is your best bet then!
