Hm, people compares this to Radiohead - and I think I understand why, but they're both unique in their own ways. In any case they're both called alternative bands - and tbh I've never been able to really define that term, can anybody help here?

You should listen to every album from first to the latest one, in one sitting. It will give you a good idea of how the band have travelled through their musical history.

Absolution is the best, but their most recent album has some good stuff too. Also Origin of Symmetry and, to a lesser extent, Showbiz...

Plug in Baby is their best IMO. Their version of Feeling Good is pretty damn good too.

All 4 albums are worth checking out but I think the latest is the most consistently good.
