Yup, so it was Houston mainly then. My mate F. told me he had to go to the basement with cans, water and lamps for quite some time.

In any case, on the news here it looked as if the whole region was under the white swirl the metheorologists use to point out a storm. You know, those things that look like bad photoshop apprentice drawing.

Well, the cloud cover from Ike covered almost all of Texas, fortunately the storm altered its course several times after making landfall, it was originally predicted the eye of the stormm was going to pass over Dallas.....or close to it.
