Nick Drake is fantastic, although if you're going with him I would reccomend either River Man or Cello Song over others.
You could pick any track off Five Leaves Left and wouldn't go far wrong.
Ack. I gotta go listen to it now I'm thinking of it. 🙂
P.s. Starrman - had a listen to your Bob the Dog tunes on your website earlier, nice. Any plans for a UK tour? Be sure to drop by Coventry if you do!

Well...they had plenty of Tom Waits and Gary Moore, but not the two songs listed. It's too bad, I would have liked to sample them.
Nick Drake and Bob Dylan were both good suggestions which they actually had. I'm leaning toward Nick Drake as I'm less familiar with him. I'd say rhb is in the lead right now. There's still a little time to unseat him, though.
Ooops, am i allowed to plug illegal activities on here?😳

Originally posted by rwingettGood choice for sure. If you like it, I reccommend getting 'Five Leaves Left' , great album, although any of them are worth the listen.
I have taken rhb's suggestion and gotten Three Hours by Nick Drake. The contest is over. Rhb is the winner. He gets to bask in the glory.
