Your mentioning New England reminds me I had some New England clam chowder, it was out of a can though not homemade. Wasn't too bad actually for a canned chowder.

Made by Campbell's Healthy Request & Gluten free I believe was on the label. Oh 25% less sodium & low fat. Sounded pretty healthy to me so thought I would try it.

I usually don't eat canned chowers, but I would get this kind again.
