Every year my cricket club plays the neighbouring club for what we call the Stanley Cup, it has been going for 20 years and is like our local Ashes series. It's a 45 over game, which we won last year when I scored 51 not out to bring the cup back from a couple of years in the hands of our opponents. This year I had the priveledge of captaining the side. We knocked them over for 169 off 43 overs and we made the runs in 35 overs to bring the cup home once again. I almost felt as proud as Michael Vaughan taking today's test. So three cheers for me and my team and three cheers for England, it has been a glorious day for cricket!

The Stanley Cup, eh?

Funny. Here in Toronto, our entire existence is based on the exact same thing... 🙁
