Hello!
Im on vacations in Mexico City, Im from Argentina.
The questions is, Im put in my settings the Vacation advise, and two players (David Tebb and Curator), claim win for time in our respectively games.
Is ethic this situation?

at the end of the day no tourney means scum
Games: 201514,226765,218461,204255 were all timed out by you and I'm sure there are more.
Let's not Pole Vault over Rat Turds here. We have all taken T/O's and nobody is perfect. Whether or not it's a Tourney Game or a Challenge it's all the same. You both agree to move and if someone doesn't then you technically can take the T/O. It's nice not too, but you can. Vacation or not if someone doesn't move they could lose the game. I try to not do that but if you look into my past games you may find one. Trouble is that the vacation status shown in the history is the current status not the one at the time of the game.
It's a matter of life here at RHP and in the end it doesn't matter. Have a good game and if someone does it to you then don't play them again.

I'm sorry I timed you out, but I didn't know how long your vacation was going to last, and felt that you could have made an effort to move at least once in the month you were away. How difficult is it to find an Intenet cafe, library etc to get online?
I wouldn't have claimed the win if I didn't think I was winning. But we had reached a queen and pawn versus queen ending, which I'm sure is a technical win, and I assume you're last few moves were just an attempt to prolong the game.
This was a game, which started in January, and had lasted 6 months, mainly because of the slowness of your play. If we had resumed the game after your vacation, it probably would have gone on for another 6 months. The end result would have almost certainly been the same.
So those are my reasons for timing you out. Maybe I was unfair.
I apologise again.

To just throw up your vacation icon and leave without a clue as to your existence should be good enough for a T/O after a month of waiting. As Bryan ( Chess Nut) has hinted, we've all taken T/O's and this isnt life or death here. Mr. Tebb has apologized here but I dont feel it was necessary to do so.
