My wholehearted thanks...

Summary: Red Hot Pawn Subscriber from July 13, 2007, to November 19, 2011, or a total of 1,690 days; a total of 449 rated games with 78% combined wins and draws and 22% losses (1,809 highest rating); 15,990 public forum posts or an overall average of 9.5 per day; dozens and dozens of new friends (and many, many more almost friends) across the USA and around the globe; an unused Ignore List feature still factory fresh in its original box; several personal message exchanges over the years with helpful forum moderators; a cordial working relationship with Russ & Chris who have gone out of their way to help me with various administrative and technical issues, with definitive solutions and prompt personal messages and email feedback; an unanticipated serious medical sabbatical from December 10, 2010, until August 19, 2011; and my decision today to give the public forums a breather until sometime in early 2012 when I'm moved in and settled in my brand new highrise city apartment. Meanwhile, I'll read and 'thumbs up' deserving posts without partiality and, of course, accept and answer any and all personal messages as promptly as my schedule allows.

My wholehearted thanks to all for making room for my style and a great ride. Season's Greeting to each of you and your families.

Kind regards.

gb

This is a great idea and I believe I will follow your example, except I'm not moving into an apartment and I may try and provide an occasional answer in the "help" forum if I think I have a solution for someone.

You are a dickhead.

When you walk in his shoes and go through what he has the last year, you might have some compassion.

I'm pretty sure GB would rather have jimslyp's anger than your pity.

I feel like I have walked in his shoes with the amount of public hanging out of his laundry. It's not like we haven't heard about this before. It's just non stop bang bang bang on about the same old flipping stuff. I have compassion. I have compassion for people who get old and suffer with a bit of grace and dignity and don't constantly high light their own problems to the world, just for a bit of attention.

New word, empathy, big difference, look it up.

I don't recall him bitching and whining.
You on the other hand...

I don't need a vocabulary lesson from you...pity is the word I chose, and it is far more appropriate than empathy..look it up.

I do. Take a look back at his posts. All he ever does is bitch. Sorry you can't see that. Take the 'cheap shot' threads for example. Tell me that's not bitching? He takes the word to another dimension. He's forever pouring his disdain over every other person's posts/threads etcetera, whilst assuring us all that he's perfectly correct and we're all oh so wrong in our humble little lives. Sorry I've got no time for the man at all, as I'm sure you have no time for me.

No problem.

It's currently 6:11 PM, just to dispel a myth.
