i like the band advertising on my space. Alot of bands post there albums on it before they are released which gives me a chance to listen to them before I make a purchase. Its also a good way to discover some new music thats out there that other wise I wouldnt hear. What I do is keep my profile blank and use it purely for music searching.

What is most ridiculous about myspace though is that Tom, as standard, is amongst your friends' list. As very few people would remove Tom, just about everyone on myspace is in your extended network!
