The Lakers are doing much better than I expected. Looks like they're moving on up to the next level.

yea the lakers are a surprise Kobe is turning into a leader and not the selfish player he was not so long ago

I know it sounds like sour grapes, but I sure wish the Suns would pull their heads out (sad to say it may already be too late). And I don't know who this clown is masquerading as Shawn Marion, either.

That series could just as easily be 2-2.
I would not be counting Laker chickens.

That's true enough. After all, the Suns were better than the Lakers in almost every category except rebounding (the Suns' weak spot ever since Barkley left) during the regular season. I just wish their second-best player (Shawn Marion) wouldn't always fold up like a cheap beach chair during the playoffs. If he would just show up in regular season form, the Lakers would be just a bad memory by now.

Kobe will always be a selfish player until the Lakers get someone to compliment him. Granted he hit that shot Sunday, it was over a double team. Pass the ball, jackass.

If Amare Stoudamire was playing this series would've been a Suns sweep.

Have you been rubbing a magic lamp? 🙂
Lakers vs Suns (3-2). Can they survive one more?

...........................................................................................

The Miami /Chicago series has been entertaining, with ejections,
suspensions, fast break knockdowns, throwing mouthpieces at
officials, teammates shouting at each other, something new each
game.

Lol... I had to listen to last night's Suns/Lakers game on the radio since I was at work. It was awesome. Raja Bell and Kobe were at other other all night long. Kobe smacked Bell in the mouth at one point and Bell got the foul. Later, Bell got his second technical (and a flagrant foul, and ejection) when he got wrapped up with Kobe and they both went to the floor with his arm around Kobe's neck. Then Kobe couldn't keep from flapping his mouth at the official so he got his second technical and ejection. I guess the NBA has to look at that foul to see if they should give Bell a suspension over it. And the controversy still rages over whether Luke Walton was out of bounds when he grabbed the ball while Nash had it, forcing a jump ball in Game 4.

I expected the Suns to come back and win Game 5, but whether they want it badly enough to take the series is another question.

I imagine Bell will get a one game suspension.
