Yes. Quantity over quality, that's what they say, right?

As usual you are missing the point. The OP was talking about "Active" threads!!!

Nothing about quality of them!!!

He said it was "good work" in the OP.

Always thought "good" and "quality" might somehow be intertwined.

This has been discussed before the this thread:

Activity is quality indicator here which is used as criterion for the meta-quality "interest in the site" if quality would have been defined as "philosophical valuable" or morally high standing" or "philologically elegant" we would need experts on that field.

Most probably a we could stage a debate about these in philosophia Club 191

Edit: five pages of green, yellow and red marekd posts have been reached for the first time in month. So activity is up and we do have people showing interest in the forums. This is also reflected in the number of people who killed threads which is quite high. So the activity is not mainly solipsistic 😉

(second edit due to wrong placement of this one...)

I apologize for this lapse. It seems like I thought about the sentence first the one way, then the other...

I don't have to agree with people in order to like them. You are missing out.

One of the few remembered... we'll just be forgotten about 😉

We should have a list of things which have been
discussed before so that I do not make the same error again.

I apologise if this has been discussed before.

It is quite ok wolfgang59, some live here pretty much 24/7. Not your fault you miss a thread or two along the way. Just say what ever happens to be on your mind, rather it has been said before or not. I always do, oh and don't be concerned about the thumbs down, just means people are paying attention, the either don't agree with what you said, or don't like the poster. I am always looking forward to hitting the double digit for thumbs down.
😉

Actually I didn't mean this as an attack...

Well for the record: february will most probably be the month with the fewest killings of threads. While the number in March could be ( at least a local) Maximum.

Not necessarily. But it shows that people are again interested in the forums , which I see as a good sign.

Was it GB who was buying everyone 1 year RHP subscriptions circa 2008? That was a good deed doer indeed.
