I have been doing a crossword lately and one of the clues is a large overcoat - it is a 6 letter word which begins with the letter U

I was wondering if it might be some sort of foreign word, which is why I am not able to think of it.

Anyway, I shall give a free chess tip to the person who gives me the answer.
