Deus ex machina (DEH-us ex MAH-kin-ah)
Translation: God from the machine.
It originated with Greek and Roman theater, when a mechane would lower a god or gods onstage to resolve a hopeless situation. In modern terms the Deus ex machina has also come to describe a person or thing that suddenly arrives and solves a seemingly insoluble difficulty.

Opening a welding and machine shop buisness shortly... Need a name. Any ideas?
It'll be just as effective if your pricing proposition is good, and moreso than if your prices are carp and you have a gimicky name to go on.
For the record I don't think it will benefit from a gimicky name - wrong trade for that.
