maybe not "leaders of the world", but certainly "world leaders" in philanthropy...

I agree, tho... it does seem a little misleading...

Jimmy Carter works on foreign relations and peace, and also does public speaking with Bill Clinton and a couple other ex-pres here and there. I hear him in the news now and then.

For a better answer, I guess you'd need to look it up.

Looks like they picked some real stupid people to do the polls.

Jimmy and Rosalyn are busy little beavers working for Habitat for Humanity. Gates and Bono might talk the talk and fork over some big dough, but the Carter's have been walking the walk for years now.

You never heard of the prime minister of Canada? Pick up a newspaper once in a while.

If you notice, the poll was worldwide, not just asking Americans their opinion. Yeah, I know how incredible it may seem to you that people in other countries have brains, not to mention a valid opinion.

Travel abroad for 6 months and you'd have your eyes opened about world opinion of the US and Mr. Bush. Heck, 6 weeks should do it. Maybe even 6 days. Go to the right places and it might only take 6 minutes.

How did George Bush and Condosleezy Rice even make the list? Would they have been on yours?

Better check my profile Phoenix girl. Want to compare travel to other countries now. I've lived in Europe for nine years not mention a few other places. I'll let your worry about world opinion because I don't. The world has hated the US for years.
